Willamsburg II Retail Center Nears Completion

Angler Construction is nearing completion of the Williamsburg II Retail Center set for completion in Dec. 2015. The 15,000 sf retail center was designed by Heights Venture Architect. The first tenant to start construction in Williamsburg II  will be Pizza Hut.

Port Mansfield, Texas, July 29-31, 2015

On July 29th – 31st, Angler held their Annual Fishing Tournament in Port Mansfield, TX. Participants from all aspects of the commercial real estate industry gathered for a great time of fishing, relaxation, networking and camaraderie. The tournament had participants fishing in the Lower Laguna Madre for two days, where they also enjoyed getting to network and discuss real estate challenges in a relaxing environment.  Thanks to everyone who took time to attend and our to sponsors: Kirtley Roofing, KSF of Texas, LMI, Regency Plumbing and TWR.

On April 2nd, Angler employees gathered with clients and friends at TopGolf to celebrate 5 years of successful work and customer service. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate and to those who helped grow Angler to where we are today.

Angler Construction President Honored by Houston Business Journal

Thomas Torrey Hawkins

Angler Construction Founder and President Thomas “Torrey” Hawkins has been named one of The Houston Business Journal’s 2014 40 Under 40 honorees.
Winners of this prestigious award represent the best and brightest young professionals in Houston who have started their own companies or organizations and are blazing the trail with new job creation and business innovation in the young professional circuit.

Founding Angler Construction in 2009, Hawkins grew the company from a one-man operation to 11 full-time employees in 2014, building revenues from $400,000 to almost $20 million in that span. Torrey himself has over 15 years of experience in commercial construction and development and has overseen construction of over 3 million square feet of institutional quality tilt-wall commercial facilities and over $15 million of corporate finish-out projects.

Hawkins attributes hard work and unparalleled customer service to the company’s success. In his leadership role at Angler Construction, he strives to make sure that all clients are 100% satisfied with the projects Angler delivers. As a result, the company has not lost a single client in five years of business, and the majority of clients are vocal ambassadors for the company and the brand. Torrey’s easy-going nature is well liked by clients and tenants, and has generated significant amounts of repeat and referral business for the company.

Torrey is a graduate from the University of Alabama and in his spare time is an avid fly-fisher and bird hunter.

Second Annual Angler Construction Fishing Tournament

Port Mansfield, Texas, July 22-24, 2014

On July 22nd – 24th, Angler held their Annual Fishing Tournament in Port Mansfield, TX. Over 35 participants were in attendance from all aspects of the commercial real estate industry. This tournament had participants fishing in the Lower Laguna Madre for two days, where they also enjoyed getting to network and discuss real estate challenges in a relaxing environment. And as you can see, we didn’t spend all of our time fishing. There was plenty of relaxing, eating and networking by the pool.

Angler Construction Completes Building 2 for Rampart Corporate Center

Angler Construction Completes Building 2 for Rampart Corporate Center

Angler Construction is proud to announce the completion of Building 2 at Rampart Corporate Center, located at West Little York and Langfield Road in Houston, Texas. The 300,000 sq. ft. cross dock, tilt-wall facility features a 30-foot clear height, with tilt-wall panels in excess of 45-feet tall. The project also included an ESFR fire sprinkler system and related site work, such as a 3 acre detention pond, 20 foot deep utility road bore, lift stations and utilities. This site work will also serve Building 3 of the Rampart Corporate center, currently under construction and scheduled for completion in late 2013.
