Thomas “Torrey” Hawkins

Founder & President

Torrey Hawkins has over 15 years of experience in many different aspects of commercial construction and development. He has constructed over 3 million sq ft of institutional quality tilt wall/commercial facilities and over $15 million of corporate interior/tenant finish-out projects. He strives to make sure that all clients are 100% satisfied with the projects Angler delivers. His easy going nature is well liked by clients and tenants, and has generated significant amounts of repeat and referral business for the company.  Torrey is the recipient of HBJ's 40 under 40 award for 2014 and currently serves on NAIOP's Houston Chapter board of directors.  He is a graduate from the University of Alabama and in his spare time is an avid fly-fisher and bird hunter.

Michael Reed

Director of Pre-construction, Site Utilities Division

With over 20 years in commercial plumbing and civil construction, Michael brings numerous specializations to the Angler Team: Estimation, planning/management, & installation of complex Plumbing Site Utilities including Sanitary Sewer, Domestic Water, Fire Water, and Storm Sewer systems.  He has a passion for the outdoors & all sorts of saltwater endeavors. As a NAUI Dive Instructor, he has even worked for Johnsen Engineering at the NBL (Neutral Buoyancy Lab) training with Astronauts on building and repairing the Space Station and Hubble Telescope.  When it comes to water and construction, this guy can handle anything on the planet... and more.

Fred Rose

Senior Project Manager- Interiors

With over 25 years of experience in construction project management, Fred brings a wealth of knowledge and know how to our Interiors division.  A dedicated and genuine manager, Fred loves the projects that he can sink his teeth into; Projects with a lot of specialties and artistic touches. His persistence to get the best bang for the buck for his clients really pays off. When he’s not impressing at work he enjoys bicycling, throwing knives & hatchets, and doing woodshop projects with his granddaughters.

Devin Valenta, LEED AP BD+C, Assoc. DBIA

Senior Project Manager- Industrial

A graduate of OSU in Construction Management Technology, Devin is a sharp and motivated PM.  With 6 years of experience and $80 million in new construction and renovations under his belt, he exemplifies quality work and service for Angler clients.  Growing up here in Houston, he is an avid fisherman, Astros addict, and OSU fan.

Adam Hissong

Project Manager- Banking

A recent Houston implant, Adam has 6 years experience in the construction industry with a primary focus in military, municipality and k-12. He has completed over $60M in construction projects ranging in size from $300,000 to $26M. Adam is a graduate from Pittsburg State University in Construction Management and in his spare time he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and Ohio State football.

Kyle Henderson

Project Manager, Industrial

Kyle started his career in construction here at Angler and after proving to be a quick study and completing the company cross training program, he has been promoted to project manager.  Kyle coordinates all aspects of his projects. Utilizing his strengths, he focuses on ensuring quality work and estimating, compiling well planned and accurate bids for the Industrial division.  A graduate of Texas A&M University, he studied Industrial Distribution and Business. Born and raised in Baytown, Kyle enjoys getting away in his spare time both bird hunting and saltwater fishing.

Jasper Ybarra

Project Manager, Interiors

Jasper is bringing his 15 years of construction experience to our Interiors division.  He has also served Angler in our retail division and as a Sr. Superintendent before being promoted from within. He is a graduate of the University of Houston where he studied Civil Engineering.  A native Houstonian, Jasper is an avid fan of both sports and family time.
